The Senate Special Committee on Oil and Gas considered SENATE                  
BILL NO. 134 "An Act establishing credits for purchasers of state              
royalty oil for expenditures made by those purchasers on qualifying            
capital investments to be applied against liquidated purchase                  
arrearages established in contracts, settlements, or final judgments;          
and providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced            
with                                                                           
                                                                               
	CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 134(O&G), entitled:                                    
"An Act establishing credits for purchasers of state                          
royalty oil for expenditures made by those                                     
purchasers on qualifying capital investments to be                             
applied against liquidated purchase arrearages                                 
established in contracts, settlements, or final                                
judgments, and directing the deposit into the Alaska                           
permanent fund and the general fund of the portion                             
of the liquidated purchase arrearage that must be                              
paid in cash in order to obtain the credit; and                                
providing for an effective date."                                              
                                                                               
Signing no recommendation:  Senator Leman, Chair, Senators Sharp,              
Halford, Salo.  Signing do not pass - cut budget and give away our
